About Stage Coach
I'm here to help you take the next step as an actor, writer or producer.
Stage Coach is me, at this point, but I will be bringing on other coaches as
needed for specific artists. I know my limitations.
There is always a next step in any art form but it is often difficult to see it by
yourself. Trying to do so makes you both actor and director, writer and
editor. From personal experience the best directors, teachers and editors
are those who ask the right questions and help the artist unlock the door
for themselves. If I can't help you, I'll know that pretty quickly.
I got into acting on a dare in 1981 when I said, "Hey, I can do that," while
watching an actor friend audition. Flash forward 25 years and I run two
Production companies, have my BA in Theatre from San Francisco State,
have had plays and an animated series I created produced, have
performed, directed or produced over a 100 shows, have founded several
theatre companies and worked on-camera in commercials, industrials,
television and film.
I've done A LOT of Shakespeare. I've even picked up some skill in stage
combat and have choreographed several plays.
Right now we are in the process of forming up the Mountain Shakespeare
Festival in Frazier Park. We did our first outdoor show in Pine Mountain
Club, a production of Midsummers, in August. It was a stunning success
and we are going to continue.
