Stage Coach Peter Kjenaas
Center Stage

August 1, 2008

Welcome to Stage Coach - a place to get help as an actor,
writer, director or producer.

We have completed our 2008 season and it was a great
success any way you look at it.   Our goal was to establish
ourselves as a new destination theatre for the Greater Los
Angeles area, to provide a high quality outdoor theatre
experience that will entertain while giving everyone a big dose
of fresh air.  We did that, and more.  We also had hundreds of
new audience members from the Mountain Communities of
Pine Mountain Club, Frazier Park and Lebec.

Mountain Shakespeare Festival.  Comedy of Errors opened in
Pine Mountain Club Gazebo on July 5th and You Can't Take it
With You opened on July 11th.

Go to
www.mountainshakes.org  to see what we did and what
we have planned for 2009.

This has been a wild ride getting these two plays in rehearsal
and ready for performance.  But as the character says in
Shakespeare in Love, "It always works out, no one knows why.
 It's a mystery."

Please join us in July on weekends in gorgeous Pine
Mountain Club.  Enjoy fresh air and much cooler temps than
down the mountain.

Why Stage Coach?
I thought the name was nifty and it also gives a pretty good feel for what I
will deliver.  I also like the idea and feel of Coaching versus Teaching.
Teaching is often a process of delivering and receiving specific knowledge
in a systematic way.  Coaching is the process of working with a person
one-on-one to help them get from where they are to a higher level of
proficiency and confidence.

Stage Coach, which is at the moment me but will be growing with other
coaches, offers face-to-face work on any phase or aspect of creating in the
theatrical arts.  I work with beginners, novices, the career oriented  and
established professionals.    I believe that all artists benefit from an
outside eye and ear.

Whether your goal is to become the next box office sensation or perhaps
you  want to make bundles of cash working in commercials or you want to
hone your craft for stage work, I can help.
